Bluebells: Small blue flowers which appear in the spring, native to UK and Spain. Maybe other places too. Originally written in 1996 this song appeared on DM’s previous band Banoffi’s album Galata Bridge. Twenty one years and a few thousand miles later it’s still about Hannah Moss and a wonderful woodland walk.

Lyrics

I could go down in this sea of blue and never want to rise again
If you remember nothing else, may you remember bluebells
In the rain, we slept, you on my chest
And in the rain I said it gets no better than this
I could go down to the sweet sound of bluebells ringing loud
If you remember nothing else, may you remember bluebells.
